Jesus Christ is the fulfillment and culmination of God's revelation throughout the centuries. When we know him, we have all we need to be saved from our sin to have a perfect relationship with God. Jesus was God's agent in creating the world, and "through him, God Created everything. "For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him." (Colossians 1:16) Because of false teachers, some people believe that if there's the sin in the world, God Himself could not have created it. In Genesis, when God made everything, He said that it was good. God does not make any mistake, and Jesus was there in the beginning when God made everything. The world was created by and is under the authority of Christ. God's creation includes the government and also the spiritual world.
Christ has no equal and no rival; He is the Lord of all. No sin is too big for the Ruler of the universe to handle. He can and will forgive us when we come to him through his Son. We know that Jesus is essential because we have the Holy Spirit living inside of believers. Jesus' teaching turned the world upside down and continue to do so. The world sees power as a way to gain control over others. But Jesus, with all His authority and power in heaven and earth, chooses to serve others. Jesus' followers today receive this same power to help.
As believers, we are called to be servants of Christ. As Christ served, so we are to help. "He also says to the Son, in the beginning, Lord, you laid the foundation of the earth and made the heaven with your hands. They will perish, but you remain forever. They will wear out like old clothing." (Hebrews 1:10-11) When we are going through a hard time and experiencing rejection from the world, we feel isolated. When Christians look and see what is going on in the world, we are tempted to exchange eternal heaven with this earthly world and forsake the changeless Christ. Christ is our only security in our ever-changing world. Whatever may happen in this world, Christ remains forever changeless. If you trust Christ, you will be secure. Stand on the firmest foundation in the universe-Jesus Christ. Jesus is essential. Those that overcome know this.
Brothers and Sisters trust in the Lord and be encouraged.
